Mangaluru: ‘Dr SPB Live Concert’ on Jan 19 – Venue shifted to Sahyadri College

Mangaluru, Jan 18:’ Dr SPB Live Concert’, a star-studded event, which was supposed to be held 6 pm onwards on January 19 at Nehru Maidan, will now be held at Sahyadri College, Open Air Grounds, Adyar, Mangaluru. The show is organised by Swami Enterprises, Bengaluru and Time & Tide, the reputed event managers of the District.

The legendary singer Dr S P Balasubramanyam will be performing on stage with the charismatic Divya Raghavan. Dr S P Balasubramanyam is a Padma Bhushan awardee and a Guinness World Record holder with more than 40,000 songs to his credit. As Dr S P Balasubramanyam is performing in Mangaluru after a long time, huge crowd of more than 30,000 people is expected to witness the musical extravaganza.

Karnataka's ‘Nightingale’ Divya Raghavan has proved her calibre through her melodious voice which has stolen hearts. Her multifaceted talent spans film songs in languages like Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Guajarati and Bengali as also Ghazals, Bhajans and Folk.

Four categories of paid passes are available for premium seats. Free entry to the public is allowed in designated viewing points. Food Court and Beverages Arena is arranged at the venue. During the event six best singers who are selected through audition prior to the event will get the chance to share the stage with SPB.

A unique innovation of Dr SPB Live Concert is the opportunity given to budding talents of Mangaluru to sing with the legend. Six best singers who are selected in open to all audition prior to the show will get the chance to share the stage with SPB and be inspired by his feedback.

Food court - Food stalls and beverages arena

A huge food court with special spaces for food of all types from popular street food to MNC branded eats and treats will be set up. And beverage to quench the thirst too will also be arranged.

Four categories of paid passes for premium seats namely Club Class, Gold Class, Silver Class and General Class with seating arrangement and security with barricades.

Free entry to the public is allowed in designated viewing points.

The event is presented by Swami Enterprises, Bengaluru. It is supported and managed by Time & Tide Event Management, Mangaluru.

    Very good decision. The Nehru Maidan should use for Cricket and Football only. Even that Maidan should not use for any Political or Exhibition. If our PM visit also administration should not give permission to hold meetings. This is my suggestion.
