Pak resorts to ceasefire violation on LoC


New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS): Pakistan resorted to an unprovoked ceasefire violation across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday with firing of small arms and mortar shelling, the Army said.

The Army said in a statement that the ceasefire violation in the Mendhar sector took place from 12.30 p.m., to 1.15 p.m., adding that the Indian side "retaliated befittingly".
