Mangaluru: CCTV cameras to be installed on Netravati bridge immediately - MLA Vedavyasa Kamath

Mangaluru, Jan 18: MLA Vedavyasa Kamath stopped the proposal and immediately brought into execution the work of installing protective walls on both sides of the Netravati Bridge as well as installing CCTV cameras. This decision was taken in the Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) meeting that was held on Saturday, January 18.

MLA Vedavyasa Kamath said that the decision to install CCTV cameras as well as protective walls was taken to prevent the untoward incidents on the bridge that lies on the Mangaluru-Kerala national highway.

The park at Valencia will be upgraded immediately by MUDA. Kamath said that the park will be developed in such a way as to increase the beauty of the city.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sindhu B Rupesh, MLC Ivan D'Souza, MUDA commissioner Srikanth Rao, MCC commissioner Shanadi Ajit Kumar Hegde and other officials were present in the meeting.
