Bengaluru, Jan 18: Amit Shah, national president of BJP and central home minister, who is on the tour of Karnataka lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying that he is the icon of Indian culture and tradition.

Amit Shah was speaking at the Viveka Deepini Maha Samarpane programme that was organized by Vedanta Bharati association in the city on Saturday, January 18.

Amit Shah further said, "PM Modi is touring whole world as an emblem of Indian culture and tradition." Shah also mentioned that Modi took bath in holy Ganga at Varanasi before taking oath as prime minister for the second time.

"Shankaracharya said that the world will acquire peace and prosperity through Advaita ideology. He kept faith on Bhakti, Karma and Jnana. He believed that one can get salvation through any route," said Amit Shah.

    India is a developed nation and super power too. Who told you not developed. Thank god we Indians are smart and strong. Only we are not developed the criteria to qualify our politicians based on minimum set of education, background check, and certians set rules to apply to be in certain political leadership roles. If we have such criteria in place for sure we will prosper. Example good economist or legal expert or in certain minister level.with clean background makes a great nation with transparency for its citizens to live without mixture of politics into religions. I am so proud to see India has great respect in the world stage specially Modiji and Manmohan singhji made India shine

    Mutual admiration society. You sing my virtues and I will sing yours. I read a report today that more poor and unemployed people have committed suicide than farmers in 2018 under this mutual admiration society. Unemployment is highest for last 35 years. More murders. More governments have issued travel advisories to their citizens against traveling to India. Delhi has been named rape capital of the world.
    So stop mutual admiration and do some real work other than harrassing people with ED and CBI.
