Japan bundled out for 41 in U-19 WC, Tweeple laud Team India


New Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS): Twitterati showered love on Team India after they defeated Japan by 10 wickets and 271 balls remaining to register their second successive victory in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup on Tuesday.

As of now, India sit on top of their table and have qualified for the quarter-finals. Once this news came out, social media has been abuzz with reactions.

A user on the micro-blogging site Twitter wrote, "Lowest total against India was 34 by Bangladesh...thankfully Japan surpassed that."

"Congratulation #TeamIndia for winning the match against Japan" wrote another.

A post read, "Is speed gun still recovering from that Pathirana delivery? #u19cwc #INDvJPN"

A Tweeple remarked, "I am just happy to see Japan playing in U19 Cricket World Cup...augurs well for the game in East Asian countries..."
