New Delhi, Jan 22: Earlier, an activist had filed an RTI query over the definition of the term 'tukde-tukde gang' which was first coined by the BJP government. Responding to the query, the Home Ministry claimed that there is 'no information concerning tukde-tukde gang'.
However, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has provided an answer to the query. Tagging the media report, Tharoor tweeted, “The tukde-tukde gang does exist. They are running the government and dividing the nation.”

Slamming the Home Ministry and taking a jibe at Shah, Tharoor maintained that the tukde-tukde gang was none other than the centre.
Meanwhile, responding to the query at a party press conference, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said, “I think the home minister knows more about the tukde-tukde gang than we do… the country knows who is dividing India."
