File report on Jamia plea: Court directs Delhi police

New Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS): Hearing a plea filed by the Jamia Millia Islamia University, a Delhi Court has asked the Delhi Police to file an action taken report on the FIR registered over the December 15, 2019, incident in the varsity campus.

The varsity approached the court seeking an FIR against the police personnel who allegedly thrashed students inside the varsity campus on December 15, 2019, after the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) turned violent.
