Mangalore: St Joseph’s ITC Gets NSS Unit

Mangalore, Oct 6:
With the aim of encouraging creative and constructive social action, St Joseph’s Industrial Training Centre at Jeppu started its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit on Monday October 5.
 
The unit was inaugurated by Rathnakar Bannady, district secretary of NSS, Aided Pre-university Board.

He said that everything begins with self-awareness which enables us to stand tall in the crowd, and the way we understand ourselves. “A small sacrifice can help a lot and can generate so much of goodwill”, he added.
 
Bannady also explained about the NSS and about the government’s support to the cause.
 
Correspondent of the institution Fr J B Crasta, principal J B D’Souza, and office superintendent Blany Lobo were present.
