Cyprus, Oct 6: It is encouraging to see Konkani flag flying high in place like Cyprus where sizeable number of Konkani speaking migrants are residing.

Konkani Kala Sangh, Cyprus (Mangalorean Catholics from Karwar to Mangalore) created  history recently in Cyrpus by writing and staging a Konkani drama “Aanaath Anthu”. Indeed it was a marathon efforts from Konkani speaking community, despite their busy schedule of routine work, managed to spare some time to work for the cause of Konkani and to keepthe Konkani flag flying high.

Am surprised to see whole lot of Women in the crowd. Hardly any men (other than the 4 organizers & 1 priest) no other men can be seen. Does it ring any bells.
