Sun, Jan 26 2020Very colorful yet very patriotic occasion to witness from a long distance, more than 14000 miles away from Mangalore. Still vividly remember the first Republic of 1950 in Mangalore. Life was simple but life was still filled with basket full of proud feelings that we had the First President, Mr. Rajendra Prasad was sworn in at New Delhi. We had no televisions in those days, but we had good radio broadcasts that brought us the fresh news from New Delhi.
May the feelings of pride and joy of being a Republic continue to prevail at all times, and may peace and progress also prevail at all times.

Sun, Jan 26 2020The common comment is found that.... nice to see all the political parties on one stage.... Reason..... all the political leaders are good friends and we are the big fools who believe them and support them when they fight each other.

Sun, Jan 26 2020Despite being under BJP rule, we see all parties on the same dais. This sort of solidarity is required . Nation first, In the past when Cong ruled, such platform was used by their leaders to announce 'Jayanthis' . Any ways Happy Republic day to all,

Sun, Jan 26 2020We have been safe in our country for the past 70 years because of our Constitution,
our constitution has protected our Rights and today when our Constitution is in danger then it is our duty to protect our Constitution.
This Republic day lets take an oath that we will safeguard our Constitution till our last breath.
Chief Justice of India (CJI) & Supreme court supposed to be Gurdian of Indian Constitution
& watchdog of Indian Democracy. if it fails to be what it is supposed to be then WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, Progressive thinkers, writers, Educated Personalities, unsold journalists, Economists, students will definitely become Gurdian of Constitution & Watchdog of Democracy.
