ISL: Kerala Blasters, ATK head coaches handed two-game bans

New Delhi, Jan 26 (IANS): ATK's head coach Antonio Habas and goalkeeping coach Angel Pindado and Kerala Blasters head coach Eelco Schattorie have been handed two-match suspensions in addition to fans for their alleged involvement in a scuffle during the closing stages of an ISL match.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) said on Sunday that its Disciplinary Committee found the three "guilty of serious misconduct" during the fracas that broke out on the touchline during the closing stages of the Indian Super League match between the two sides on January 12 in Kolkata. The Blasters won the match 1-0.

"Antonio Habas and Angel Pindado have both been handed two-game suspensions and fines of Rs 1 lakh and 2 lakh respectively. However, since both have already served one suspension each in the previous game, the duo will be out of technical area against NorthEast United FC on January 27."

"Schattorie is required to serve a similar two-game suspension and a pay fine of Rs 1 lakh with immediate effect."

Habas and Pindado had been sent off by the referee at the end of the match which meant that they had already served a one-game suspension after that.
