Mangaluru: Expert PU College hosts alumni re-union 'Ex-Sangam - 2020'

Mangaluru, Jan 27: The alumni re-union of Expert Pre University College, Kodialbail, ‘Ex-Sangam - 2020’ was held in the multipurpose hall of the college. The proud Expertians pursuing their professional courses all over India thronged to their alma mater to partake in the joyous occasion.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the gathering Prof Nayak expressed his happiness over the large number of former students turning up to participate in the event with the enthusiasm which is an indication of their respect for their alma mater. He also reminded the alumni to adhere to the good values like discipline and hard work taught in Expert. He urged them to be socially useful human beings.



Ankush N Nayak, director of Information Technology – Expert Group of Institutions and the first batch alumnus shared his experience as a student at Expert PU College and encouraged his fellow alumni to stay in touch and build an effective network of communication to forge an everlasting bond between the alumni and the alma mater.

The principal of the college, Prof Ramachandra Bhat asked the students to be an active member of the Alumni Association and lend their support in the growth of the institution. Dr Devdas Bhat of the 2007 batch also shared his experience and
professed his gratitude towards the institution. The office-bearers of the alumni association for the year 2020-2021 were elected on the occasion. The president of the Alumni Association Vrishali accorded a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the gathering. Meera hosted the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.

The new office bearers of the Expert Alumni Association areas follows Aaqif (president), Meera BN (vice-president), Chirag Sagar (secretary) and Vishakha Kotecha (joint secretary). The following regional conveners were also selected Karthik Palled (Bengaluru); Shravani MN (North Karnataka); Varun MN (Mysore); Sambhram (Mangaluru and Udupi).

They also took part in several fun games. The programme director Zita D'Souza and all the other teaching staff were present to witness the homecoming of the alumni.
