Simona Halep enters Australian Open semis

Melbourne, Jan 29 (IANS): Romania's Simona Halep defeated Estonia's Anett Kontaveit 6-1, 6-1 and reached the Australian Open semifinals here on Wednesday.

Halep wasted no time over 28th seed Kontaveit without dropping a set.

Halep took jus 53 minutes to outclass her opponent and seal her berth in the Australian Open semifinals for the second time in last three years.
