Mangaluru: City College of Nursing organizes school health programme, observes World Leprosy Day

Mangaluru, Jan 30: City College of Nursing- National Social Service unit and department of Community Health Nursing on January 29 conducted a school health programme at ZP Govt Higher Primary School, Kenjar.

Health education programmes were conducted on topics like menstrual hygiene and personal hygiene. Nutritional programmes and cultural activities were conducted in anganwadi at Porkodi junction. On the same occasion World Leprosy Day was also celebrated. Students enacted a street play to create awareness about leprosy in the community.



The headmistress Vijayalakshmi, Bondel PHC doctor Dr Savitha, Sisters, Madhushree, lecturer and Adline, assistant lecturer of City College of Nursing were present during the programme.
