Amro Bank to operate on Infosys cloud platform


Bengaluru, Jan 30 (IANS): Global software major Infosys on Thursday signed a multi-year contract with Dutch financial giant ABN AMRO Bank to quicken its Cloud and DevOps transformation.

"We will continue to leverage our investments in Cloud, digital and DevOps to help the bank achieve agility and optimal business efficiency," Mohit Joshi, President, Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Infosys, said in a statement.

According to the renewed deal, the $11 billion Bengaluru headquartered company will help the bank achieve business and operational goals by streamlining IT transformation with Cloud platform strategy.

Infosys will enable ABN AMRO to shift to a single public Cloud for efficient business operations.

Joshi said the joint venture between the companies in mortgage services through Stater has enhanced Infosys' relationship with the bank.

However, Infosys did not reveal the deal size.
