Hanging of Nirbhaya convicts postponed

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS): Barely 12 hours ahead of the much-anticipated execution of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case, a Delhi court on Friday directed the Tihar Jail authorities not to execute the death warrants issued against the convicts.

The execution was scheduled for Saturday at 6 a.m.

Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana passed the order.

The execution was postponed till further order, the court said.

    If rapist have remorse for what they have done to a human being they themselves must have gone to the altar and asked to hang them at least god would have lessen their pain in hell for repentance...... anyway you are destined to die one day ....repent and die.... .... And find and bring that juvenile Feroz or Afroz and hang him tooo then only nirbhaya soul will rest in peace...now he is major so hang him also...

    These barbaric criminals know very well that we have courts and we have law like article 142 or we have judged who can allow them to get away with social or spiritual service rulings.Just. Islamic Sharia law is the only solution

    Mark my words the hanging will not happen in 2020. Secondly one convict who claims that he was a minor will not be hanged and will be released after few years.
    When it comes to criminals our justice system has thousands rules and rights. But when it comes to the victim there is no law and justice.
