Nirbhaya case: HC to hear plea on convicts' death warrants


New Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS): The Delhi High Court will hold an urgent hearing in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case later on Saturday.

The Tihar Jail authorities approached the High Court challenging the trial court order that stayed the death warrants issued against the four convicts in the case - Mukesh, Pawan, Akshay and Vinay.

A single judge bench of Justice Suresh Kumar will hear the matter.
