Mangaluru: Shakthi Fest inaugurated at school auditorium

Mangaluru, Feb 1: Shakthi Fest at Shakthi Residential School was inaugurated on Friday, January 31, at Shakthi Auditorium of the school. The valedictory function was held on Saturday, February 1.

Asha Priya, principal, Shree Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Konchady, was the chief guest on the occasion. She said we should always focus on our aim without fearing failure.

P N Acharya well known artiste, Manipal, was another chief guest of the programme. He said that the one who indulge himself / herself in fine arts can focus on life too. Students who learn fine arts can build future in every field. According to him, an artiste can put his thoughts and his skills on task and develop it very well.

K C Naik, the managing trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna Temple, Baikady Janardana Achar, administrator of Shakthi Institutions, Ramesh K, chief adviser of Shakthi Education Trust, Prakyath Rai, institute development officer, Prabhakara G S, principal of Shakthi P.U.College, and Neema Saxena, cordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-school, were present on the stage.

As many as 19 schools’ 350 students participated in Shakthi Fest 2020. In the inter-school competition, the winners of class 1-4 was awarded to Canara School Uruva, second place was awarded to Ramakrishna school, Sharadha Vidyalaya won third place.

In class 5-8 section, Canara school Urwa won first place, Sharada Vidyalaya second and third place by Ramakrishna School.
