Mangaluru: SJEC's Mahima Rao secures first rank in VTU exams, bags 13 gold medals

Mangaluru, Feb 2: Mahima S Rao, a student of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, has secured the first rank in civil engineering for the academic year 2018-19 in the university examinations conducted by VTU, Belagavi.

Mahima secured the rank by scoring a CGPA of 9.38 in her undergraduation in civil engineering.

Along with this academic distinction, she has also bagged a record tally of 13 gold medals for related achievements. With this astonishing feat, St Joseph Engineering College has added yet another feather to its already glittering cap.

Besides excellence in her scholastic pursuits, Mahima has earned the title of 'Vidushi' and is known for her talent in classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kuchupudi, Mohiniyattam, folk dance, Yakshagaana and other art forms.

The management, staff and students of SJEC have congratulated Mahima's outstanding achievement and wished her well in her future endeavours.

    Why only hunting for jobs. She is so so brilliant, one day let her become the Prime Minister of our country and create jobs for others.
