Wuhan, Feb 3 (IANS): Over 200 Taiwanese nationals will board a chartered flight on Monday to return home from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak.
Officials said on Sunday added that measures have been taken to help the Tainwanese nationals in Hubei, including distributing masks, disinfectants and other medical materials, Xinhua news agency reported.
An information gathering system has also been set up to record their daily health conditions and willingness to return to Taiwan,.
One Tainwanese national was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in Hubei, while two others were suspected to be infected.
By the end of Sunday, 10 coronavirus cases was confirmed in Taiwan, according to China's National Health Commission.
By Monday morning, the virus has killed 361 people in China, with a total of 17,205 infected cases.
The Philippines on Sunday confirmed the first coronavirus death outside China.
