Mangalore: Two Persons Found Murdered in Separate Incidents in City

Mangalore, Oct 17: Two persons were found murdered in different places of the city on Saturday October 17. Among the dead, one is a watchman of Badriya College on Old Port road and the other is a worker involved in cleaning of buses at the service bus stand near State Bank of India.
The person found murdered at the service bus stand has been identified as Prakash Bhat, son of H Srinivas, resident of Bhagavati Nilaya, Yenegudde near Kota, Kundapur. Driving license found in his pocket has divulged the above details.
Police confirming the incident as murder, however informed the motive for the murder is yet to be clearly known. It is said that he was killed following a quarrel that ensued between some persons at the bus stand between the intervening night of Friday and Saturday October 17.
In another incident, watchman of Badriya College near Bunder was found killed in the toilet of the college. Police suspect it to be an incident of theft as the window pane of office room was found broken. Not much is known about the murdered. Investigation is on.
Both the cases were registered under Mangalore south police station limits.
