Mangaluru, Feb 5: Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, here, unit of Shree Devi Education Trust in the city bagged several ranks in the examinations held in 2018-19 by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Two students from the department of Business Administration (MBA), Ashwini and Prathima S secured second and tenth rank respectively. Meghala of Master of Computer Application Department (MCA) secured the sixth rank and Sohan Shetty of MTech (Construction Technology) secured ninth rank. It is a proud moment for the Shree Devians to appear in the top list of students among rank holders. The director, principal, teaching fraternity expressed their happiness and compliments to the students on their stupendous performance.
Shree Devi Institute of Technology achieved 100 percent results in the eighth semester VTU Examination of 2019 in Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering. It secured 95 percent in Information Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Shree Devi Institute of Technology established in 2006, is one of the premier technological institutions in Dakshina Kannada and is continuously focused on quality and value-based education. It is successful in securing consecutive ranks in the examinations conducted by VTU. The MCA department produced several rank holders in the earlier examinations too.
Raksha - third rank, Sarika N Khandre - second rank, Anusha - third rank, Namratha first rank, Sumitra Gadiyar second rank are few of the notable achievers in the department. Similarly, MBA and MTech departments have also given few astounding performances namely, Sandhya T J third rank and Amrutha - third rank respectively.
Akash secured the sixth rank in BE Mechanical Engineering in the previous examination. This incredible accomplishment is the result of continuous efforts of the dedicated faculty, visionary management and supportive admin and technical staff.
Tied up with top MNCs and corporates, the institute has been successfully placing students graduating from varied branches of BE, MBA, MCA and MTech for the past ten years. The students have been performing exceptionally well in their careers and earning laurels for the institute for over a decade.
