Mangaluru: Dr Anjana Devi sheds light on research opportunities in Germany

Mangaluru, Feb 8: The PG department of Chemistry of St Agnes College on February 5 organized a session on the topic ‘Research opportunities in Germany’.

Dr Anjana Devi, Professor, Inorganic Materials Chemistry, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany as well as an alumna of St Agnes College was the resource person. She shared her research knowledge and work done in inorganic material chemistry specifically in the synthesis of Advanced Materials. She also guided the students about the research opportunities available in Germany and the process to be followed to do a Masters or Doctorate in Germany.

The students were enlightened on the various fellowships offered by Europe especially by Germany.



Sr Dr Vinora AC the PG coordinator was also present for the event.

The audience included students from UG and PG departments of Chemistry as well as from other departments. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Gloria.
