Mangalore: Police Arrest Man Using Fake Passport

Mangalore, Oct 22: The Bajpe police arrested a man for travelling to Dubai using a fake passport on Thursday October 22.

The arrested is Abdulla Kunhi Tharif, a resident of Thekkil Bendichal in Kasargod.

According to the police, Abdullah travelled to Dubai via an Air India Express flight on Monday October 19 at 9.30 pm. 

However, upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, the officials found that the signature on the passport had been forged. 

He was deported to Mangalore and officials at Bajpe airport handed him over to Bajpe police. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
