Karkala, Feb 11: Nitte athlete Bhoomika of Dr NSAM First Grade College 2nd year BBA secured gold medal with a cash award of Rs 50,000 in Manipal marathon.

Bhoomika took part in 42 km open category.

The marathon was held on February 9 at Manipal.
