Commerce fest ‘Ambiora 2020’ organized at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur, Feb 12: The department of Commerce and IQAC of St Philomena College here, on February 11 organized a state-level intercollegiate Commerce fest ‘AMBIORA 2020’ at the college auditorium.

The chairman, Mangaluru branch of ICAI, CA Anantha Padmanabha K Vailaya inaugurated the fest and delivered the inaugural address. The campus director and chairman of PG Studies of the College Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the chief guest. The principal Prof Leo Noronha delivered the presidential address.

The former dean and HoD of Commerce, Prof Maxim Carl graced the occasion.

Prathima and team presented a prayer song. The dean and HoD of Commerce, Premalatha K welcomed the gathering. Farana S N introduced the chief guest. The student coordinator, Sukumar proposed the vote of thanks. Janhavi compered the programme.



The valedictory function of the fest was held in the evening. The principal, Prof Leo Noronha felicitated the prize winners of the various events.

‘Ambiora 2020’ consisted of ‘Marketing’, ‘Human Resource’, ‘Business Quiz’, ‘Finance’, ‘Best Manager’ and ‘Dance’. Students from 12 colleges participated in these events.

The overall championship trophy of ‘Ambiora 2020’ was bagged by SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru. The runner up trophy was secured by St Aloysius College Mangaluru.

The staff coordinators Harshitha D H, Thejaswi Bhat and student coordinator Sushanth K coordinated the programme. Shridevi K compered the programme.
