Mangalore, Oct 25: In an accident in which a truck jumped down the 50-feet deep gorge at Taretota near Pumpwell in the city on Friday October 23 night, the driver of the truck died, while the clear is in critical condition.
After the accident, the fire brigade and 108 ambulance helped the victims, who were trapped inside the vehicle, to get admitted into a hospital. The driver, who lost his life, is yet to be properly identified, even though a medical prescription in his pocket gave the name as Sebastian. The cleaner of the truck, named Raghava (40) is being treated in a local hospital. Raghava, who has been seriously injured, has not been able to give any information. The truck was moving towards Kasargod at the time of the accident.
