Mangalore, Oct 25: Sub-inspector of  Moodbidri police station, Bharati, who has earned a name for herself with the efficient handling of the cases and working ruthlessly against the anti-social elements of the region, entered wedlock on Sunday October 25.



Her marriage was solemnized at Goddess Durgaparameshwari Temple in Kateel in the district. B A Narasimha Murty from Gauribidanur was the bridegroom.

    Mrs Barathi congrats! She is really Kiran Bedi of DK Police. During my last visit to India I had seen her while performing duty.But one advise to her- some of her P.Constables(two) in moodbidri Police Station is taking adventage of her power and name/fame for their benifit.If she could taken into account of public complaint in this matter then it is well and good for the public.HAPPY MARRIED LIFE

    I had spent five years studying in Moodbidri during 1952 to 1957. During my last visit I had seen MS Bharati from a distance performing her duty.I wish her to reach the heights of India's great cop Kiran Bedi.
