    No group of people will now come forward and ask for his release or hold rallies for him just because they belong to their faith . Unlike some others. That, I guess is the difference

    Ganesh,
    Could you explain the relationship between rape attempt and uniform civil code? Does the current laws spare this person from the punishment for his crime depending on his religion?. If not, why do you propose Uniform Civil code?

    With 6 children, privacy at home is limited. Hence he is venturing outside.
    This could be avoided if uniform civil code with strict monogamy and less than two children law!!

    @Shankar,
    You are indirectly making fun of poor people who live in make shift tents and spend their entire life therein. They don't have privacy either. So do you think all of them satisfy their desires outside.
    So according to your logic, poor people don't have the right to have the pleasure of children; and rich people who have big houses can have unlimited number of children.

    Even if I use your own logic that more the satisfaction inside, lesser the chances of venturing outside; you should encourage ploygamy to avoid the chances of venturing outside.
    You yourself justified irrelevancy of Uniform Civil code. I am just elaborating your own logic.

    The issue for me was his two wives and six children. Why should he have 2 wives? Can he be equally just to two wives? . Can you imagine the situation in this world if every family in this earth has half a dozen Kids?. Dont you know that this world is allready overcrowded. is it possible to add one square inch to this planet. If people like Abdullah and his ilk grows , the physical space per capita in this planet will keep on shrinking. See how crowded and pollutted are the cities. people are jostling for the small space. Finally it will be the poor who have to face the brunt. the freshwater demand and the demand for cereals grow as the number of stomacks increases. Is it difficult to undrstand basics unless you are blinded by religion.

    Rajesh mangalore ,6children or ten wives ,that is not the debatte here.Its ones own right to plan their own family

    if they can finanz it.Here we have to look into his present case ,what he did to the girl.Thats the fault.why should we discuss his private life?He should be punished for his attempt a minor girl-He seems to be phaedophil?Now people have set fire to his shop too is not a heroic action.Thtas simply destroying ones existence.These people too should be fined .They should pay for it.

    The right punishment for the grievance offense. No mercy should be shown to any individual with a pervert mind . Deserves public lashes.
