Ludhiana, Feb 18 (IANS): I-League is all set to witness another exciting encounter as Real Kashmir FC take on Churchill Brothers here on Wednesday. Real Kashmir were beaten 0-1 by Punjab FC in their last match in Ludhiana on Sunday.
The ‘Snow Leopards' have 15 points from 10 matches and are currently in seventh position. Churchill have 16 points from 10 games and are in the 5th position.
Against Punjab, Real Kashmir created quite a few chances and dominated the midfield but failed to score.
Prior to that defeat, RKFC were on a three-match winning streak, winning 2-0 against Indian Arrows and Aizawl and 1-0 against Gokulam Kerala.
Centre back Mason Robertson played a vital role in the team's victories, scoring goals in each of the three matches.
He, together with Gnohere Krizo and Kaullum Higginbotham, have been the driving force of RKFC's forward line.
David Robertson's side would aim to hit the winning streak all over again with the balanced approach against Churchill Brothers.
Real Kashmir FC will also hope their new entrant Robin Singh also starts scoring after signing in the January window.
