Mangaluru: Identity parade for bomb-planting accused Adithya Rao?

Mangaluru, Feb 20: As per information, the police are preparing to arrange for the identity parade of Adithya Rao, who has been accused of planting an explosive device at the airport here. The police want to complete this process as needed by law, so that eyewitnesses can identify the accused.

The police have already collected statements of over 45 witnesses relating to the case. The police have written to the tahsildar asking the official to take steps to conduct identity parade of the accused in the presence of over ten eyewitnesses. The tahsildar might respond to this request shortly.

The police had sent samples of the explosive device to forensic science laboratory for testing, but the report is yet to be received. Once the report is received, the police will file charge sheet after going through the report, it is said.
