Mangaluru: Seminar on 'Challenges of Teen Parenting' held at St Aloysius PU College

Mangaluru, Feb 21: The Counseling Department of St Aloysius PU College organized a seminar on 'Challenges of Teen Parenting' for the parents of I PU students from February 10 to 20 at the Loyola Hall.

Renowned Neuro-Psychiatrist, Dr Caroline P D’Souza and Psychologist Dr Rameela Shekhar addressed the parents and helped them to be aware of various issues like academic stress, peer pressure, substance abuse, depression, family dynamics, healthy relationships, necessary boundaries, effective ways to guide children in teen years and means to deal with them.

The sessions also included interactive talks with senior lecturers of the college on various academic issues.
