Bangalore: Triple Murder – Raju Confesses to Crime in Open Court

Bangalore, Nov 1: Bhaskar alias Raju (25), who is the third accused along with Lokesh (24) and Murali (20) in the sensational triple murder case of October 20 that shook the city, confessed with tears rolling down his cheeks in the open court on Friday October 30, that he had committed the crime. He said he is unfit to live and requested that he be awarded death sentence.

After the suspense in the murder was cleared by the policemen and the news of the arrest of the trio came to light on October 28, people had gathered in front of Raju’s house located at Kalkere in Shankar Mutt Street in Ramamurty Nagar, dragged his mother out of the house and had torched his house. It is said that Raju, who worked as a mechanic and was close to his family, shuddered at the sight of his mother having been dragged out, which was relayed by television channels.

All the accused were remanded for six days police custody by the court. The policemen claim, that all the three are equally guilty in the said murders.
