Mangalore: Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail Celebrates Parish Feast

Mangalore, Nov 2: Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail of Mangalore Diocese celebrated its parish feast on Sunday November 1. 



Priests from the varado and the guest priests joined the con-celebration of the mass. The former vicar Fr Godfrey L A Saldanha was the main celebrant. Fr Clifford Fernandes, professor of St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu meaningfully broke the Word of God.  It was a joyful occasion to thank the almighty for His graces and to meet family members and well-wishers.  e. 

As a preparation for this feast on the previous Sunday October 25, the celebration of the “Kompricho Aitar” (Con-Fraternity Sunday) was held. The solemn mass began at 5.00 pm. Fr Victor Machado, rector, St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, presided over the eucharistic celebration and broke the Word of God for the Parish community. After the mass whole parish community gathered for the public eucharistic procession.

    I WISH ALL MY PARISHIONERS A HAPPY FEAST.I AM MISSING IT FROM LAST 13 YRS.HOPE I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR...VERY HAPPY TO SEE FR.GODFREY SALDANHA CELEBRATING FEAST MASS.
