Mangalore: Where is the government? Is it in Hyderbad, Goa or Delhi? - Asks Poojary

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Nov 5: "The state government, which should have concentrated on working for the flood-affected people of North Karnataka, is reeling under the storm of dissidence  unleashed by the politicians of a faction within the BJP. The government is on its deathbed," commented B Janardan Poojary, former union minister. He was addressing a press conference here on Wednesday November 4.

Lacs of people have lost their lands and houses because of the recent floods. The government has completely failed to rehabilitate them.  Against the inaction of the government, a huge protest will be organized in front of the office of the Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner under the banner of the district Congress committee on Saturday November 7, he announced.

"Where is the government? Is it in Hyderbad, Goa or Delhi? There is no trace of it in the state," Poojary noted sarcastically. He noted that a group of legislators  headed by Reddy brothers is in Delhi, and felt that the state government is in the intensive care unit, and that its days are numbered.
