30-year-old Ullas Menezes from Vamanjoor dies of cardiac arrest in Dubai

Dubai, Feb 28: A 30-year-old Ullas Menezes from Vamanjoor died here after he suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday, February 28. 

Ullas married Kenita last December. Being a known sportsperson among Mangalureans in UAE,  he represented many corporate and community  sports teams in UAE.  He played for  Payyar Punters which won the first edition of throwball league organized by UAE Throwball group on February 8 this year. He was also a good artiste and organizer of cultural events.

His mortal remains will be flown to his hometown for final rites after necessary formalities are completed in UAE.

    Just cant believe .. shocked. met him on Ash Wednesday in Jebel ali Church . also on last Friday at SMMC cricket tournament. its very sad to see our youngsters passing . very friendly guy , talented sports person.
