Bengaluru: TLC PU College takes students to visit IISc for Open Day

Bengaluru, Mar 3: To witness the activities, experiments and campus of one of the top institutions in India, the students of The Learning Centre PU College (a division of CFAL) visited the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru on February 29.

IISc hosted the 43rd edition of its annual Open Day and opened its gates to the student community and the general public to showcase its activities.

The students enthusiastically went around the campus to explore the exciting science and technology initiatives and activities of the Institute. The Open Day featured popular lectures, experimental demos, poster presentations, quiz contests, scientific competitions, and exhibitions that were showcased in the various departments and centres. IISC is known for its prestigious courses related to pure sciences and is the best institute for research in India. Students were amazed by the campus size and its scenic beauty. Stretching over many acres, the campus houses some of the most beautiful architectural works and some of the rarest botanical species.
