Mangaluru: A J Institute of Management bag overall championship at Edify-2020

Mangaluru, Mar 4: The MSNM Besant Institute of PG Studies Bondel, Mangaluru hosted the fest Edify 2020 on March 3 at their college premises. The eventful fest which saw the participation of over 18 teams drew to a close with the Valedictory function.

Brian Fernandes CEO of Spearhead Group, News Karnataka was the chief guest for the segment, he was joined on the stage by Raghava Kamath former general manager, Corporation Bank.

Addressing the crowd, Brian Fernandes said, "As you learn, have lots of fun because after you leave the Institution the fun stops and only the learning remains. Do not wear masks but wear helmets, there is a manager and a leader in each one of us. We have to rise from becoming a manager to a leader by committing SIN - Strategy Integrity and Innovation. Students have to envisage the future, do the right thing and create something new."



He advised the students to compete against oneself and not others and to do a task better than yesterday.

The winners of the fest and the overall championship was bagged by A J Institute of Management. The runners-up spot was bagged by Shri Devi Institute of Technology, MBA Department, Kenjar.

Dr Molly S Chaudhuri director, MSNM Besant Institute welcomed the gathering. Ridhvika Shetty faculty and coordinator of Edify 2020 gave a brief introduction of the fest. Anand Nayak student of II year MBA rendered the vote of thanks. Shibony Snehal Pinto student of II year MBA compered the programme.
