Puttur: Three-Day Internet Information Camp Underway at Uppinangady

Puttur, Nov 12:
A three-day Internet information camp was inaugurated at Uppinangady Pre-University College, here on Wednesday November 11. The camp will conclude on Friday November 13. 


 
Taluk panchayat member Zohara Nissar Ahmed inaugurated the three-day camp. The camp is organized for the benefit of students of seven schools namely Hirebandady, Kemmara, Sharavoor, Savanoor, Gandibagilu and Uppinangady Model Higher Primary School, which lies in the neighbourhood of Uppinangady here.
 
Zohara speaking on the occasion, said that e-media has enabled the internet users to log into various websites that flash the breaking news at real-time, while the dailies carry such reports the following day.  Hence, it’s a boon for surfers on social networking and in general, Zohara said.
 
College vice principal Divakar Acharya, teachers – parents association secretary Karunakar and block education officer Sheshanayana were present.
