Mangalore University vice-chancellor Prof Yadapadithaya honoured with PRCI award

Mangaluru, Mar 8: Public Relation Council of India (PRCI) has conferred prestigious ‘Dr R Sudarshana Memorial Life Time Achievement award for National Achievers - Administration and Education’ to the Mangalore University vice-chancellor Prof P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya.

The award was conferred in a colourful function on March 6 as a part of the 14th Global Communication Conclave at Gandhinagar, Bengaluru. The event was a part of 11th Chanakya awards for national and international achievers.

Reacting to the honour, Prof P S Yadapadithaya said that PRCI has honoured Mangalore University with this award. “In our university starting from VC to students all act as PR personnel. I represent them. However, I am happy as they recognised my 40-years of work in the field of higher education. It has increased my responsibility,” he added.
