Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College celebrates International Women’s Day

Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 9: Women’s Day was celebrated at St Agnes PU College in a unique way. The male staff members gave a floral welcome to the female faculty as they entered the college on March 9. On this occasion, the management arranged a session by Dr Caroline P D'Souza, an eminent neuro-psychiatrist. She spoke on the multiple roles of women and emphasized the problems women face at every stage of their life.

After the session, the ladies were pleasantly surprised by the slew of fun-filled games and other activities conducted so thoughtfully by the male staff members to make them feel special.

Ashwin recited a poem recognising the contribution and significance of women in society while Joel entertained the ladies with a little melody.
Sr Norine D'Souza principal welcomed the gathering and Suvasini rendered the vote of thanks.
