Mangaluru, Mar 16: The muhurat of Tulu film 'Rocket' being produced under the banner of Amma Productions was held at Kateel Durgaparameshwari temple here on March 13. Kateel priest Anand Asranna and Hari Asranna conducted pooja to the camera and set the film shooting in motion.
The film is written and will be directed by Dinakar. Entrepreneurs Sarala N Karkera, Jaya Shetty and Jayavardhan will jointly produce the film. Music will be provided by ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’ film fame Kishore Kumar Shetty and cinematography will be handled by ‘Girgit’ fame Niranjan Das. The production management will be by Sathish Brahmavar and supervision will be by J Bangera.
Prathvi Ambar, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Usha Bhandary, Umesh Mijar, Vineet Kumar, Laksha Shetty and Ankita Patla are in the cast.
"The film will be shot in the vicinity of Karkala," said the director.
