Mangalore, Nov 20: Director (Human Resources) of Bangalore-based IT major, Infosys Technologies, T V Mohandas Pai, said that the only way to realize the dream of an affluent India our ancestors had nursed, is to educate every child in the country. He was speaking after inaugurating Canara School (CBSE syllabus), set up by Canara High School Association in the city, on Thursday November 19.
“Our elders, who fought for our independence and made sacrifices for the country, had dreamt of India that is liberated, peaceful and affluent. Even now, a considerable part of the child population continues to be deprived of education. Many even struggle to get their food,” he said, and felt that progress of the country will be possible, only when everyone is able to share the fruits of development of the country.
