Konkani music video 'Thum Mhojem Valentine' garners 100K views on YouTube

Mangaluru, Mar 18: Friz Love is one of the most talented musicians and singer hailing from Goa, has sung and composed numerous songs backed by music videos. His songs are a fusion of both modern and traditional music which makes people fall in love with them. His latest music video, 'Thum Mhojem Valentine' (Valentine's Day special)
was released on his official YouTube channel 'Friz love' on February 14, is a wonderful and well-applauded addition to his mesmerizing collection of romantic melodies that have won hearts all over the world.

Speaking about his inspiration on coming out with great melodies, Friz said, “It is a blessing and it gives me great pleasure when people appreciate and support me to do more and more. I have more songs to be released with music videos in the coming future."

The tunes, lyrics and composition of 'Thum Mhojem Valentine' are by Friz Love. The music is by JSF. It is sung by Friz Love and Alria Fernandes. The DOP, director, editor of the music video is done by Jostin D’Sa and Roystan D’Souza. It is available on the official YouTube channel of Friz Love and Radio Daijiworld

Alria Fernandes the young Goan talent who has provided her voice for the music video discovered her talent when she had a chance to participate in a school competition in Class 7. She bagged the first place in the singing competition which inspired her to participate in various events and competitions over the years. Alria is also inspired by her mother who is also a singer and quite active in the community church choir group.

JSF (Joe Savio Fernandes) hails from South Goa is the producer of six Konkani songs on his YouTube channel 'JSF', out of which three are collaborations. His dream is to become a mixing engineer and collaborate with major artists from Goa. JSF says that he is quite pleased with his recent work and said, “I am grateful to God, each member of my lovely family and people who have motivated me throughout these years. I am very fortunate and feel blessed that I had this opportunity to work with Friz Love and create this track with him. He is an amazing, very supportive and humble human being. I look forward to working more closely with him and bring in new and refreshing music for our Konkani music lovers."

Monisha Weerakoon who played the lead role with Friz Love in the music video is a Srilankan model, actor and a host and currently residing in Dubai. She has already acted in a couple of Srilankan music videos and has been appreciated by many Konkan audiences for her role in, 'Thum Mhojem Valentine'.

Sharing her experience, Weerakoon said, “Though it was a quick one day shoot, I enjoyed it. The video was captured so well that lip-sync and singing the lyrics aloud was not necessary all time, it was managed well by Jostin and Roystan.”

The duo Jostin D’Sa and Roystan D’Souza directors of the music video have received appreciation and best wishes for their creative skills. They had released their directorial debut 'Voch Mhaka Sanddun' from Nelson Mathias’s album 'Vengenth Moga' on January 1 which was well accepted by many Konkani music lovers.

'Thum Mhojem Valentine' music video released with a positive response from people in Goa, Mangaluru, UK, USA, UAE and many other places, and has reached more than 50,000 views within two days of its release. The song also captured picturesque locations of the Gulf, shot under a day due to time constraints and edited within 14 hours. When asked, the duos said, “We are grateful to the Almighty for this talent and we thank Friz love for giving us this opportunity. It was fun directing the music video and we are very pleased to see such appreciation and support from our audiences who have immensely enjoyed the music video. They are our inspiration to do more and more in future. Love you all."
