Mangalore: Ashwini Nachappa Graces Sahyadri College Founders Day

Mangalore, Nov 21: Sahyadri College of Engineering celebrated Founder’s Day on Saturday November 21 at the college campus in Adyar.  The institution is promoted by the Bhandary Foundation.

Former athlete and Arjuna award winner Ashwini Nachappa was the chief guest on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, she said, “Youth should have a goal and effort should be put in to achieve the goal, but the purpose is not important. Failure and success should not be counted”. 
 
“There are clashes in the name of religion and language in the country, hence, the youth are required to do something which will be a remarkable contribution to society”, added Nachappa.
 
The Bhandary Foundation is celebrating the seventh year of its formation. Dr K N Vijayaprakash, commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation, inaugurated the celebration.

Manjunatha Bhandary, chairman, Bhandary Education Foundation, secretary Prasanna Bhandary and trustees were present.
