"CONGRATULATIONS' KARNATAKA SHAGHA DUBAI & ITS MEMBERS FOR PRESENTING THE 6TH WORLD KANNADA SANSKRUTHI SAMMELANA 2009 AS A PART OF THEIR 25TH ANNIVERSERY CELEBRATIONS. TWO DAYS FUNCTIONS IS NOT A JOKE & PROBABLY IT IS FOR THE FIRST TIME A TWO DAY CELEBRATIONS WAS ORGANISED BY ANY ORGRANISATION IN DUBAI. IN TOTAL, THE FUNCTION WAS A GRAND SUCCESS & CARRIED OUT VERY WELL BARRING FEW DELAYS, TIMELY EXCECUTION OF THE PROGRAMMES. THIS WAS PROBABLY DUE TO THE SHERE SIZE OF THE CELEBRATIONS, HUGE SIZE OF OVERSEAS PARTICIPANTS & THEIR ASPIRATIONS, MAY BE CRAMPING TOO MANY PROGRAMMES IN A TIGHT SCHEDULE, NOT KEEPING UP TO THEIR ALLOTED TIME BY THE SPEAKERS & MANY MORE REASONS WHICH WERE GENERALLY OUT OF THE CONTROL OF THE ORGANISERS. WHATEVER SAID & DONE IT IS NOT A JOKE TO ORGANISE THIS KIND OF A CELEBRATIONS BY A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED RELENTLESSLY GIVING THEIR VALUABLE TIME NEGLECTING THEIR LIVELY HOOD AND FAMILIES ONLY WILL KNOW. IT IS EASSY TO COMMENT MINUTELY WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE PAINS INVOLVED TO ORGANISE SUCH A MAGNONOMOUS EVENT. GENERALLY IT IS JUST NOT POSSIBLE TO CONTROL EVERYTHING WHEN SUCH A BIG EVENT IS HELD INVOLVING HUNDREDS OF OUTSIDE GUESTS & ACCOMMODATE SO MANY PROGRAMMES. ONE GLARING OMMISION MAY BE, AS MR. B.R.SHETTY MENTIONED, THAT NO LOCAL ARAB COMMUNITY WAS INVITED TO WITNESS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL EVENT. THREE CHEERS & CONGRATULATIONS TO KARNATAKA SHANGHA DUBAI FOR THIER WONDERFUL EFFORTS.
