Bengaluru, Mar 21: State education minister Suresh Kumar, clarified on Friday, March 20, that second PU annual examination will be held on dates already specified and none of the examinations have been postponed.

The minister came out with this clarification, in view of the fact that various rumours making the rounds in the social media have been spreading false information that dates of examinations have been postponed. He stated that neither the government nor the PU education department have taken a decision on postponing examinations. He also requested the parents and the students not to pay heed to such rumours.

Sources in the education department said that neither the government nor Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board have taken any decision to postpone or alter dates of SSLC examinations. Therefore, they advised the students neither to have confusion on the issue nor be apprehensive.
