Dubai Nov 20 : It was a bright sunny day and the weather was quite pleasant in the UAE. Udenthichim Neketram - Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association (MVCA) organized a family picnic at the Zabeel Park in Dubai on November 20, 2009. The members and their families gathered as one big family at 10.00 am sharp and breakfast was served at the venue.

There were lots of group games and activities organized by the team (This picnic was organised by the combined effort of Vinay Pinto Paladka, Richard Saldanha Sampige, Vincent D Costa Taccode, Rajesh Alvares, Rudolf Sanctis Sampigae, Lawrence D’souza, Moodbidri, Elias Lobo/Ivy Lobo Hospet. Along with Office Bearers and committee Members of MVCA.) under the able leadership of Reshma Dsouza, Alangar (Cultural Secretary of MVCA) who is the main coordinator of this event. It was attended by association members with their families and friends including children. Zabeel park was the most ideal place to have fun under the sun.

Richard Saldanha conducted games and activities for the children who had fun and lost in their own world of fun.

Food was also arranged as usual by the well known Al Shay restaurant in Dubai. The games and activities provided an opportunity for the young and old, to meet, greet, interact, participate and have real good fun. The games were played with much zeal and enthusiasm.

Kudos to the organizing committee for organizing a day of fun and entertainment. The MVCA members enjoyed and had real good fun from dawn till dusk.
