UAE Exchange bags Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA)

UAE Exchange’s Chairman Abdulla Humaid Ali Al Mazroei and MD & CEO Dr. B R Shetty received the esteemed award from the Advisor of National Security Council H H Sheikh Hassa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at an impressive ceremony held yesterday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. 

The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, hosted by Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been designed to recognize organizations that demonstrate high performance and continuous improvement to support a healthy economy and unify their management practice in a balanced holistic model. SKEA uses the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model to assess the participating entities and the winners are the ones who have successfully implemented the parameters as recommended by the Model. 

Using the EFQM excellence model, organizations will be able to identify areas of strengths and improvement across all aspects of their operations, thus, enabling the organization to focus on priorities and actions for improvement. It suggests a methodology for conducting self assessment against the international criteria for business excellence used throughout Europe and beyond.
