Coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia crosses 1100, additional curfew imposed

Riyadh, Mar 28: With the number of new coronavirus cases touching 92 as announced by Saudi Arabia's ministry of health on Friday, the number now touches 1,104.

Of these, 35 have recovered while 3 deaths are reported.

King Salman chaired an emergency virtual summit of G20 leaders on Thursday to advance a coordinated response to the global coronavirus pandemic.

The king also extended curfew the same day in the cities of Riyadh, Makkah and Madinah starting from 3 pm.

Earlier in the week an order was set in motion banning movement of people across the kingdom from 7 pm to 6 pm.
